I arrived home from work on Tuesday and my wife says: "Why don't we pick up leaves this evening". They were starting to get relatively thick and the kids/dogs were starting to track them in the house. So, it was definitely time to do some pickup. The plan was to pick up the front yard and some of the sides, then wrap it up for the day.
We finished what we planned to do, then headed in for dinner. We were standing in the kitchen, looking out the window and noticing how many leaves were in the back. She says, why don't we pickup some of the back. So, I headed back out and started blowing. Well, that turned in to the entire back yard and an additional two hours of work.
Generally, my wife does the raking and I do the collection and removal. To my amazement, she asked if she could try the backpack blower! She loved it and ended up doing the rest of the back yard while I raked and removed the piles. How cool is that! How many wives would be interested in throwing on a backpack blower and blowing leaves for two hours. She really is an amazing wife...
