If you are running on a 64-bit OS and recently installed such things as Office 2010, you will notice “Microsoft Word 97 - 2003 Document” is missing. This is because Office is a 32-bit application so it does not show up in the native 64-bit DCOM Config window. The trick is to launch the MMC in 32-bit mode, then add the “Component Services” snap-in. Run “mmc -32” from a Start > Run, then you should see your 32-bit COM components.
Thank you very very very much, that's the advice i needed!
