I had the need to delete an old SQL 2008 Analysis Server DB today when re-installing TFS 2010. Logged in to the SQL box, pulled up Management Studio, then connected to the Analysis Server instance, but no DB’s (my account does not have SA rights). Right clicking on the Management Studio icon and selecting “Run as administrator” did the trick.
